UniApplyForMe started as a free tool to help learners apply to university. Labs is how that mission survives and grows.
Where it started
A free platform that learners made their own
UniApplyForMe began in 2021 as a free platform helping Grade 12 learners navigate university applications, APS scores, qualification matching, and bursaries. It grew into one of the most widely used education platforms in South Africa, recognised as Higher Education Application Support NPO of the Year in 2025.

A platform used by hundreds of thousands of learners needs real resources to run and grow. UniApplyForMe Labs is the company that provides them. By building products that generate revenue, Labs keeps the learner platform free and continually improving. The mission comes first, and the company exists to serve it.

Labs is turning a trusted platform into a lasting ecosystem: advertising and partnership products, a public data API already serving millions of requests, and matching technology other education tools can build on. The goal is simple, a self-sustaining company whose success is measured by how many learners it helps.
